kaspi Communications has curbed its early access policy and launched a ‘blocking’ programme against file sharing of its content, ordering file shippers and file-sharers to perform an up to 6-month ‘block’ of their content within 24 hours.

Software companies Sofoboy and BitTorrent have announced they plan to drop their ‘Blocked Markets’ offering to download and watch the latest movie trailer for their users by the end of the month.
Sofobou deals with films, TV series, games and music content and Bittorrent lets users download movies, TV shows, music and other files at any time with no cost to the consumer. Movies and TV series are available for free on the Bittorent network.
While Bittorence does not offer compatible specification, consumers can download movies and TV shows within a year after they appear on the service. “This means that Bittorents can offer universal movie/TV set top box access to millions of users worldwide,” said Metanavi CEO and co-founder Aneela Khanna at the launch on Thursday.
Most movies on Bittorenet are currently available for six months at a time, but if the programme is successful, it may be expanded to offer more time periods.
A section of the network has already been removed in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus, and it is unclear if removal will happen in other countries.
The company’s online services and media shopping are designed for members, and users of the service have the option of unlimited free downloads of movies and television shows for a period of up to 30 days.
Metrovision will be sharing its news, sports and music programmes with everyone who are a member of its public Facebook group.
“Consumers are becoming increasingly aware that they are not always going to be able to just pass a 10GB of music MP3 or an hour of TV chat without slowing down any over-the-top sites and giving up the ability to watch, listen and browse their favourite content. Also, fewer people have internet connectivity at home, which in turn means fewer movie ‘binges’,” said Khanna.
